Description
L’exigence : mon premier combat

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, clear dark golden colour, minerally aroma with notes of rubber, flavour of overipoe and dried apples, quite sweet, with almost no bitterness and very little biterness, light and almost like an apple Juice.

Had to try this one, in a black 750ml bottle, corked with what looks like real old-fashioned cork and none of that plastic stuff you see often these days. Pours gold with just a little head but that’s gone in seconds. Aroma is perfumy, complex, lots of apple and alcohol, slight nutty notes. Taste is extremely dry and strange, almost no sweetness, like sucking on an apple branch. Very dry and sour finish. Not what I was expecting and I was not pleasantly surprised.

Corked bottle from Galeries Gourmandes, Paris, as Loïc Raison Cidre Bouché Breton, 4.5% ABV
Blond color; fine perlage; almost no head. The classic apple juice aroma, quite industrial. Dry mouthfeel, some apple juice flavor, with a light tannic astringency. Some sulfites push it further down. Not enough effort.

Corked bottle
Blond color, the head disappears immediately. Light aroma, ordinary, with some cork. Medium dry, ordinary taste; typical French cider, but nothing special.
Just a bit drier than the Doux.
