A deep red beer with an OK head. The aroma is malty sweet. The flavor is primarily sweet with a slightly bitterness to end it - a beer with a great balance. Though it's not a stout - it's a great beer.

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, Sweden.
Dark amber. Intense fruity aroma with an evident punch of pine needles. Medium sweet and medium bodied. Rounded mouthfeel with notes of chocolate and a dryish bitter finish with lingering pine needle flavour.

Like the other Wychwood beers I have tried so far, this is below average. Pours a nice dark color with a slight coffee aroma but the flavor was seriously lacking. Thin and metallic and too fizzy. Maybe this is what a lightstruck Stout tastes like? Damn these clear bottles!

Another clear bottle import ruined by skunky smell. Another $3.50 down the drain. Another cool bottle concept wasted. This beer probably would not be bad otherwise, as it did have some hops flavor. I don''t know when some of these importers will realize they are shooting themselves in the foot with these clear bottles.

Golden-orange color. Smells like chicken? Later it develops a very interesting aroma: malt and light fruity, very nice hop, herbal. Dry, maybe too much carbonated, but good body, supported by a strong hopping, giving also a fruity taste.
