Clear amber with a frothy white head and a sweet, malty aroma. Sweet fruit malt, floral hops, and that Wychwood ‘funk’ they add to everything

Clear, pale gold with a creamy white head and a grainy, floral aroma. Semi-creamy mouthfeel, some light caramel sweetness, biscuit malt and floral hops - has a touch of bittenress to it, and some fruity notes

Rocky white head stayed on clear pale amber coloured body. Spiced fruit, malt & bitter aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & sharp on the back. Bitter, hoppy, caramel & malt tastes with a tangy finish. Great EIPA.

This was a choice find at the Gibsons LDB. Amber-brown colour. Not much head. Smells caramelly and sweet, with fun things like bubblegum and alcohol. Tastes about the same, with caramel, bubblegum and alcohol. Low bitterness. I remember ten years ago I was out walking around Bath. It was pretty hot and I was getting thirsty. Popped into the nearest pub and the best they could do was cask Hobgoblin. I was reminded that Hobgoblin isn't all that good. So I suppose I should have known this wouldn't inspire me, but that said the bubblegum is really disappointing. Not suitable for lagerboys.

2/1/2022. Bottle at the New Year beer share. From Beers of Europe. Pours dark brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of liquorice, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, dried fruit, treacle, ash. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Decent.

2/1/2022. Bottle at the New Year beer share. From Beers of Europe. Pours clear pale amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, toffee, fruits, orange, dried fruits, toast and butter. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Oily watery texture, average carbonation. Nice aroma, great looks, just lacked some body but was better than I'd expected.

Bottle picked up from Dutties, Streatham high road and drunk at home (03/12/2021) - clear gold with a white head. Medium sweet malty and vague citrus fruity, grassy twiggy hops, cereal, grain, biscuity malts, light body, subdued hoppy finish. Pretty basic affair.

Cask @ JDW Montomery's Tower. Relatively clear amber pour. Good spiced fruitcake nose. Taste is disappointingly thin and watery, some mild amber malt and spiced expressions, but generally falls flat.
