500ml can from the off-licence. I've resisted this for 8 years of rating. Now it's time. Light to mid-golden yellow, with a small film of white head. Turps, dirty sheets, metallic aroma. Tastes like cheap lager with rubbing alcohol in it. I can barely brink this. No, I can't drink this. Some strong corner shop lagers are okay. This is dreadful.

Can from Morrison's. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of corn syrup. Taste is watery. Sweet finish. Pretty bad.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden and clear with an attractive thin white head. Nose - syrup (which I note is one of the ingredients) and slightly metallic. Taste - more metal, again a bit of sweetness from malt and syrup. Palate - light bodied, a bit sweet in the middle. Dry-ish finish. Overall - it's a different kind of macro lager.

Klare strogelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich leicht malzig, leicht getreidig, schwach hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

440ml can. Pours gold, brief frothy head, no retention. Typical lager aroma of light malts, grain, corn but a little weaker than most. As expected taste is very weak and watery. It doesn't taste awful its just so bland and weak.

Bottles at a bbq where choice was limited. From the bottle but no doubt would’ve poured pale gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma was light, malty, straw. Quite watery, fairly fizzy. Did it’s job and wasn’t so bad (and there was worse on offer).

[568ml can from my local Co-Op] A straw coloured pour with a loose cream coloured head; grainy aroma; sweetish grainy taste; then a light grassy bitterness to finish. The new recipe isn’t going to take make this a craft beer, but it’s better than I remember it used to be.

Right back to my crusade to find the worst lager... 568ml can. Pours a light gold. White head dissipates quickly and doesn't look as carbonated as some UK lagers. Aroma of hops, sweetness and something metallic. Taste of sweet malt and mild bitterness which combines. Quite watery but I've had worse. Very easy to drink and not unpleasant. Oh well my search goes on...
