Bottle. Again, nothing really special about this Mexican lager, so it’s not really any different than the other lagers out there. Good with a great mexican meal.

Can. Eh, nothing really special, but at a mexican resturant eating mexican food, this beer hits the spot.

Pale yellow. Very little aroma at all. Flavor is grainy with very light hops. Thin and watery. The amber isn’t great but it is significantly better than this.

bottle - Pours fizzy and yellow with a light, grainy aroma. It tastes bland with some malt and corn and finishes even more blandly. Yes, it’s another lousy pale lager. I’m tempted to just shorten most of my pale lager ratings to those few words... Another Lousy Pale Lager.

Color of amber orange is not indicitive of the taste. Relatively mild mixture of malts and caramel. Better than the Dos Equis Special Lager or a Corona though...

Not bad for a pale lager, but not great by any means. The brew features a light hop flavor with a little malt and a little bit of grain. Better than the alternative at most Mexican restaurants.

Bottle. Better than Corona. Not that good, but I’d have to say that with a full meal at a mexican resturant, a nice cold Sol is something that compliments it quite well.

Can, 355 ml, « gift » from Marc Gratton received February 2nd, 2006; eye: pale straw, white head that disappears quickly, a bit of effervescence; nose: almost odorless, a bit of hops and caramel but mainly water; mouth: almost tasteless, "sweet" bitterness if such a combination can exist, thin body, watery texture, light carbonation, finale of average lenght all in "sweet" bitterness (?!?!), not as bad as I thought FRANÇAIS Canette, 355 ml, cadeau de Marc Gratton reçu le 2 février 2006; oeil : paille pâle, mousse blanche qui disparaît presque aussitôt, un peu d’effervescence; nez : presque pas d’odeur, un peu de houblon et de caramel mais sent surtout l’eau; bouche : presque dénouée de goût, amertume « sucrée » si une telle combinaison peut exister, corps léger, texture aqueuse, légère carbonatation, finale de longueur moyenne toute en amertume « sucrée », meilleure que ce que je m’attendais
