Bottle - nice middle of the road lager. Sour malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Clean light barley malt flavor with slight hops finish. I can’t understand why Corona is more popular than this - a decent pale lager.

Bottle. Basically a good straight forward beer - fairly middle of the road. Decent malt/hop aroma. Smooth drinking with a nice flavor - much better in Mexico than in the states.

Bottle. Not much aroma and average color. Nice light tasting beer with well balanced malt and hops. A very nice Mexican beer. However, never seen it in the states.

A red-brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted bread. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a thin body. Quite boring.

Tap: Clear amber colored beer with a thick bubbly head with average retention. Aroma is quite sweet with some weak malt also noticeable. Taste is quite pleasant with again some sweetness and a bit of malt that can be notice. Very refreshing while drank on a patio of a Mexican/tex-mex restaurant. Much more enjoyable then Corona or Sol but by no mean is it a complex or extreme beer.

2003 bottle? I think. Does it really matter? No, this beer wouldnt be good fresh off the vat. White to yellow bubbly appearance, foamy white head, aroma of stale corn, very exciting as the commercial description says. Malt flavor is dry, cardboardy and bad. Tastes like mineral water with lots sodium in it. A very bad beer. Bad but exciting. In my excitement, I dumped the rest of my bottle down the drain.

Pale blond color. Too watery, simple, even without a pleasant bitterness. Useless.

Not a good beer by any means, but I liked it better than most Mexican beers I have had and I did not end up pouring this one down the drain. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a pale yellow color with a minimal white head. The scent was sour and malty. The flavor bursts on the tongue a bit with a spicy, malty tang. The finish is sour.
