750ml bottle from Sainsbury's online. It pours clear pale golden - blonde with a small frothy white head. The aroma is doughy white bread, biscuit, cereal, grain, soft fruity vibes, stone fruits, twist of citrus, marmalade, floral accents and light spice. The taste is dry, bitter, firm, snappy, grassy, floral, peppery spice, hay, grass, dry wood, biscuit, twist of citrus, pithy, zesty, rindy, I do get the pomelo as mentioned on the label, stone fruits and a nip of booze with a woody, tannic finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Actually not and at all.

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Blackley. Golden with a thin head. If you're looking for a 2% lager then this is not particularly a bad choice as it's easy enough to drink, clean enough in the palate, and difficult to get a buzz off. If you're looking for something with a little flavour in it then perhaps not as it's quite neutral tasting.

500ml bottle from Sainbury's Darlington. Clear, pale yellow gold colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates and aroma of pear, clementine, sugary, spice hints. Taste is sweet, cinnamon, clementine, some dessert pear, and citrus, spices, sugary. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, sweet & drying spiced sugary citric finish. OK, quite sweet

Bottle from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Salford. Golden with a small head. It mostly has soft citrus, but there's a bit of a citric kick in its aftertaste, with mango and lime fairly prevalent. Hoppy in its nose and taste.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Sainbury’s in Dalston. Pours clear copper-gold with a small, creamy white topping. Moderately sweet, some toasted grains, caramel accents, a bit of yeast. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish. Basic but it’s easy-drinking.
