Description
Our beers are made of passion and knowledge, culture and innovation, memories and visions of endless worlds real and futuristic.
Giovanni Campari founded Birrificio del Ducato together with two other partners. Giovanni is still the brewmaster of the brewery, which officially began the production of craft beer on March 27th 2007 in Roncole Verdi, Busseto (PR). The historic production site was transformed into Sour Brewery in 2015, when we transferred the main brewery to the new headquarters in Soragna (PR). Here we produce the main beer lines, through a fully automated system, which includes advanced PLC controls and centrifugal separator. The brewery currently has a 60-hl 5-vessel brewhouse and a total cellar capacity of 1200 hl.
At the end of 2016 Duvel Moortgat acquired 35% of the shares of the brewery. In 2018 Duvel Moortgat acquired 70% of the brewery’s shares, investing its resources in a new laboratory and in a new bottling line.

Vintage 2014. No coz my tu mamy, ale te beczki Lambicka od 3 Fonteinen daly sporo ciala, cierpkosci, wytrawnosci, w koncu piwo spedzilo az 18 miesiecy w tych beczkach plus fermentacja roczna w butelce. Niesamowicie zywe piwo, dzikie kwasne wyraziste, cvierpkie, doprawione, ostrawe, zadziorne, cytrusowe, nieco cydrowe, bardzo metne pod koniec, wlasciwei papka taka jaka robi to Cantillon, zerowa piana, tylko kilka pęcherzykow. Doskonale do sera dojrzewajacego 5 miesiecy z Archipelagu Wysp Azorskich

Forgot to write down the canning date (on the 4 pack holder). Drunk 1/20/22. Bright, light copper. Large, white head slowly recedes and sticks at about an inch. Wow, this is dense but dainty honey, mineral and deliciously fresh grass and herb. Very aromatic, and I love how malty it is. Clean, with pepper and light sourdough lingering. In the mouth it's even better. So perfectly malty with tons of layers of honey followed by heavy herbal notes and moderate bitterness. Pretty assertively malty for 5%, but well-attenuated nonetheless. Ok, the hop bitterness builds up maybe a TOUCH too much? Still, this is pretty phenomenal.

Brilliant white thin head left a cover on a hazy vivid golden coloured body. Punched up citra & pineapple aroma. Medium bodied, almost chewy in the mouth with a tingle on the back. Pineapple, mango, melon & sweet Tropical fruity tastes with a tangy white wine like finish. Excellent.
