28/X/13 - on tap @ bar La Marine (Arcachon) - BB: n/a (2013-1007) Thanks to Wim for the beer!

Clear blond beer, small white creamy head, little stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: grains, hay, cow fodder, very German impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: grains, malt, hay, bit hoppy, little metallic. Aftertaste: hay, grains, hoppy bitterness, pretty dry ending. Not too bad...

A 33cl bottle at a Cote Brasserie in London, the ABV was given as 4.6% though. A pretty inocuous lager, nothing wrong with it but little to praise either. Very standard - the food was good though.

I drank tons of these while on vacation in France. Not very special, but very suitable for a sunny and warm holiday.

J’e suis fice unique. Smell is quite crisp, hints of lod lager in dare. Taste is a little rude from the start, not well mannered. From a small 250 mL bottle. Yes, session is a little difficult for a lager lover. Tastes like an old bottle, but perhaps this is the personality of the brew. Was expecting something a little more refined. Finish is difficult. Not sure if there was any significant co2 in this brew.

Bottle, 5.5%. The aroma starts with a mild and refreshing hop note, but turns rather paper later. Clear copper colour. Small white head. The flavour is malty with a caramelly note, and a faint note of Belgian yeast. Unclean for a lager perhaps, but tastes all right.
