Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Rather neutral aroma, a little sweet malts perhaps. Medium body, sweet malts and then metal and sulphur screaming cheap lager all over. They probably shouldn’t have revived this brand! 130914

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts mild, malty, light sourish, fruity like lemon, salty hints. Finish dry malty, light bitter. Okay.

330ml bottle, thanks to Kjell. Clear dark-brown coloured body. Fully diminishing beige head leaving a naked surface behind. Kirchenfenster to the glassware. Slightly roasted dark malty nose. Sweet taste of dark malts, caramel and earth to the fore, as well as hints of plums. On the sweety side of a bittersweet aftertaste. Okay, a tad too sweet and rather unvaried though (Cabin, MS Seranade 1, 26.07.2014).

Rating from the archive - 24.4.2011. Schöner frischhopfiger, leicht süßlicher Geruch. Der Antrunk ist mild, frisch. Angenehm hopfig-mild.

12oz goblet at a bar in Bordeaux. Pours a hazy, burnt orange with some thin, eggshell head. Nose has some candy sugar sweetness, some clove, dates, nougat, lightly floral too. Flavor is candy sweet, raisins, clove, some herbs, some dried apple slices, some dried citrus peel. Fairly heavy finish.
