Clean amber color. Simple aroma, some bread, very light smokey. Very simple taste, very poor malt and nothing else.

75cl bottle from Auchan. Gold colour with thin white head. Yeasty , herby , spicey aromas. Firm in mouth. Some orange fruit and caramel. Finish is spicey hop and some good malt. Pretty good belgian ale but lacks greatness

(Bottle 75 cl) 7,2% ABV in my version. The French have this thing about whisky beers, don’t know exactly where they got that idea. Amber coloured with a handsome, lacing head. Soft and aromatic and sweet. Less smoked than others in the same style. A bit treacherous - you don’t sense the alcohol at all. Really looks like a cheap bottle of Scotch. 071103

(Bottle 75 cl) Pilsener golden with a rather decent and stable head. Brewed with Saazer hops although they leave no obvious traces. Has an odd and unpleasant, sourish tang. Go for the ordinary lager from the same brewery - if it must be lager.... 220705

(Bottle 25 cl) Label simply says "Meteor" at 4,6% ABV. Fully golden with a nice, dense head. Pronounced malt and hops in the nose, but not really very bitter. Light and quenching with soft, malty flavours - and nothing much more. 140201

0.33l bottle (I think) Clear bottle - skunky aroma, but thankfully, the flavor wasn’t that affected. I think that this is underrated, but not that much. Tastes sweet, but not too much, it’s honeyish and malty, but not like a whiskey. It was quite pleasant, which quite suprised me. Tasted far more like a good red, than like a smoked. But there wasn’t much of a taste, almost no aftertaste, and it was skunky, so I have to lower the score. Probably found a good (even if it was a bit skunky) bottle. Oh, right, it also hides the alcohol quite well.

Hmm..amber coloured, with a small but persistent head. The first sip suprised me, it was bitter, with some unidentifiable, but survivable flavor, which went nicely with the assault of bitteness. So I was quite optimistic when I went to finish the bottle. The optimism soon faded... the next few sips revealed just the bitterness with absolutely no flavor, just a bit of lemony sourness and some hints of caramel near the end. I might have it again...
