Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of jaghana. Pours a clear dark amber with an off-white head. Roasty nose. Medium body, subtle roast, heavy metals and quite some cardboard. No bitterness. The metal really spoils the fun. 030612

33cl can from a Minimart in Phnom Penh. Drank it on the bus to Siem Reap. Pale golden with a white head. The usual aroma of sweet malt. Sweet pale lager with a faint hint of bitterness in the finish. Very lightly hoppy, but drinkable. (2012-05-01) --- Beer merged from original tick of Kingdom Gold on 01 May 2012 at 17:12 - Score: 4

33cl bottle (5%) in Phnom Penh. Light golden with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt, cooked vegetables with some fruit and a hint of alcohol. Some basement aromas and just a hint of hops. Quite disappointing, it’s drinkable, but not much more. (Produced 2012-03-07, maybe it wasn’t fresh enough?) Low carbonation and didn’t taste fresh. I forgot to give it a second chance...(2012-04-30)

33cl bottle in Phnom Penh. Drank it in a restaurant in Sisowath Quay, but didn’t get a glass so it was a bit tricky to see the colour. Light aroma of roasted malt with liquorice, caramel, dried dark fruits and spices. Much more flavour than most other beers in Cambodia, even some bitterness. Quite nice, and one of the best I tried in Cambodia. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kingdom Dunkel on 03 May 2012 at 17:26 - Score: 6
