Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks eyes_wide_shut. Clear pale golden. Grainy aroma with light grassy hops notes. Sweet and grainy flavor. Light-bodied. Pretty unpleasant.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks eyes_wide_shut. Clear pale golden. Aroma of corn, a bit of hay and light grassy notes. Sweetish and grainy flavor with a bit of grassy hops notes in a mildly bitter finish. Light-bodied. Not too offensive. 3/2/4/2/7=1.8

Bottle. Following my Romanian wife into the world of "wonderful" Romanian beer. Pours pale yellow with a small white head that dissipates quickly with some residual lacing. Aroma is grain, hay, corn syrup. Flavor is about the same, a bit of green apple. Lightly sweet, light grassy bitter finish. Not bad for a pale lager.

Cloudy light yellow. No head. Smells sweet, like lemon Fanta. Tastes basically like soda. On a 35C day, it’s really refreshing but otherwise it lacks sufficient beer character to truly impress.

Dull gold with very low carbonation visible. Vaguely malty on the nose. The palate is more dull caramel with yeasty elements of stinky feet. One of the sweeter Romanian lagers. Not awful, but not much good about it either.

Very pale and lightly hazy. Lemony and slightly yeasty aroma. The taste is fresh, slightly yeasty and with a yoghurty tang.

Light straw colour with abundant fine carbonation. The aroma is faint, and grassy-grainy. A little bit yeasty, grainy in the finish.

Light brown with no head. The aroma is caramel, maybe some nuts. The taste is sweet, with caramel. The body is thin, and the alcohol begins to seep through as it warms. Nowhere near as good as its competitor Ursus Black.

Can. Pale amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is sugar, alcohol, caramel, fruit, berries. Flavour is sweet, alcohol, caramel, hop, berries. Medium body. Ordinary beer.
