Clear ruby red colour, huge stable creamy pink head, heavy lacing. Aroma sour cherries, marzipan, some wood. Taste light heavy sweet and mild sour, cherries, candy sugar, wood. Light body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, soft sweet and sour aftertaste, woody notes, sticky mouthfeel, acceptable refreshing kriek.

2015 37ml vintage pours out rusty pink topped with a fizzy head. Nose is sweet raspberry jam candy notes and little funk. Taste is more of the nice sweet berries plenty sweet and a little funk.

37,5cl bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout, beer #5600. F: medium, pink, not long lasting. C: deep dark red, hazy. A: a lot of dark cherries, cherry jam, very fruity, bit woody. T: rich cherries, fruity, bit woody, bit lactic, sour juicy fruity, bit puckering, soft carbonation, very nice balanced, fully enjoyed.

375mlnbottle from Belg in a Box. It pours cloudy deep purpley - red with a thick, foamy pinky-purple head. The aroma is bright, zingy, plenty of funky cherry, cherry jam, some vanilla, almond, bakewell tart and juicy action. The taste is crisp, dry, juicy, sour, puckering, ripe tangy cherry, jammy, bakewell tart, fruit compote, kick of acidity, twist of lemon, granny smith apple, fizzy cherry candy, wood and some funk with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. What's not to like? Bright fruit, funk and plenty of pucker. A classy number from Mort Subite.

Bottle, 0.25l. Aroma of sour cherry, red wine, must and biscuit. Pours clear dark ruby color with thin pink creamy head, great lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet sour cherry yoghurt, following is tart and faint woody with smooth and mild spicy mouthfeel. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Sweet death by sour cherries...
