2014 RBWG Sat night Downtown Inn bottle share. Black pour with a minimal mocha head. Complex aroma, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, roast malts, bourbon. Sweet and silky smooth with a flavor that follows the aroma. Warming.

On tap at Newark airport. Pours is a mostly clear good with a dense but thin head and lovely aromas that make me realize how much I have missed hops in the last week. Flavor is also just perfect after a long week. Not even going to make a stab at describing it other than to say it is perfect.

Bottle at the RBWG 2014 grand tasting, thanks! Pours a hazy gold with a white head htat dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice funkiness with honey, sweet grain and light fruit underlying. Flavor has more dry honey, with some grass and a bit of funk in the finsh.

Bottle shared by Max at the RBWG Grand tasting, thanks! Pours a hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly ot the edges. Aroma has a bit of honey with some sweet fruit, light bitterness, citrus and a hint of flora. Flavor has more of a grass and citrus note with a bit of flora and light fruits.

Growler at RBWG 2014 grand tasting, thanks! Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark fruits and sweet dark grains with a backing vanilla note. Flavor has light dark fruits but has lots of vanilla, dark sweet grains and a hint of roasted malts.
