Sampled at Billies day 1. Opaque black color with a small dark brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, roasted malts, light soy sauce but balanced and with a pleasant bosy and general mouthfeel. Lovely! 8-8,5-9-9-8,5

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige to brown head, pretty stable, a little adhesive. Aroma: lots of maple syrup, toasted pecans, caramel, some vanilla, oxidized, earthy, tobacco, leathery, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sugary start, very sweet, dried fruits, caramel, vanilla, maple syrup, a bit oxidized, earthy, lots of alcohol. Aftertaste: bitter, roasted, coffee, maple syrup, sugary, vanilla.

Tap at Bilies. Black. Thick roasted malts, sugar, dry hazelnuts, alcohol, chocolate. Solid sweet, medium bitter. It spunds good on paper, but somehow this was really not my thing.

Clear dark brown to black beer, practically no head. Aroma: good roast up front, lots of vanilla, alcohol, caramel, more roast, soy sauce, oxidized, chocolate, nutty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very nutty, lots of alcohol, good roast, bitter, not very sweet surprisingly! Some hazelnuts, chocolate, very roasted, gentle acidity. Aftertaste: more chocolate, alcohol, bitter, cocoa powder, mocha, lovely beer!

Taste: bitter, grains, hay, cow fodder, good bitterness, dry. Aftertaste: more bitter, hoppy, a bit resinous, spicy touch, herbal notes, grassy hops, very dry, slightly soapy, clean finish.
