Old rating - Brewed specially for the 2019 Beer & cider festival in Jersey. A underpoured pint from the keg as my free drink after paying £10 entry. Pours a dark amber colour without a head. Aromas of malt. Tastes of grains & malt. Body is on the thin side with little life. Medium bitter finish. A below average bitter, a poor effort which I found difficult to finish.

Old rating - One of the last remaining 500ml bottles in the island it seemed, it pours a golden colour with a white head. Aromas of citrus, honey, hops & hints of spice. Nicely balanced with a slightly bitter finish. Well-made bitter.

Old rating - A couple of pint from the cask at the Old Smugglers Inn at Ouaisne. It pours a chestnut brown with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, earth, nuts & sweet malt. Medium body. Mild to medium bitter finish. It's a English bitter rather than the English pale ale that it's branded as. Enjoyable enough

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#42. ST SAVIOUR. A rerate on the seaside terrace at the rear of a Liberation pub on my last day in Jersey. First tried at the Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2018 at the Paramount in Manchester. Darker golden with a creamy head. Has a stronger tasting hoppiness, a hint of fruit, and is quite crisp drinking.
