473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is fairly light for the style, with medium roasted malt, a little cola, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is dry, with bitter cocoa powder and gentle roast. There's not much depth to this, just a decent dry stout that is missing some depth.

On tap at El Honesto Mike - Los Leones, pours a clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma has bready malt, candy cane, and resinous hops. Flavour has that same strange candy cane character upfront, with subtle hops and bready malt. This isn't what I expected from an IRA — seems more like an Xmas ale with candy cane. Odd.

Poured from 473mL can (estimated 8-ish months old). Lightly hazed dull yellow gold with small white head. Mild tang, hop character seems a bit muted, very feint pine, could be the age. Not picking up any marshmallow. Okay.
