50cl bottle from Fielder's Farm Shop, Englefield. An opaque dark chocolate colour with a thin coffee coloured head; oaty aroma with a hint of cocoa powder; smooth, but rather thin, milky body with some bitter dark chocolate, and perhaps a touch of toasted coconut in the finish - I was expecting far more to live up to the description.

Can at home from Grumpy Goat, 5th October 18. Pours black with a good head. Aroma is roasted malt, citrus, cocoa, grapefruit. Taste is bitter pith, citrus and chocolate integrated together, roasted malt, creamy. Really nice BIPA.

Can at PoW, Farnborough. Low key hoppy aroma, sprucey and herbal. Dark and glossy. Creamy beige head. Grows in bitterness - roasty hoppiness with a herbal edge and some quinine. Light-medium bodied. Slick with a hint of creamyness. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent enough but a tad raw for my personal taste.

33cl can @ Shoreditch's weekly food market. Orange, col épais blanc crémeux. Arôme fin sur les agrumes - pamplemousse, petit côté fruit de la passion, fin malté dans un rappel anglais assez léger. Palais est fin malté, cara - ambre, fruité sur le pamplemousse, zesty avec un léger côté fleuri et pin. La base maltée reste agréable quoique plus prenante mais bien accompagnée par les houblons.

Bottle - Pours a clear brown colour with a small thick foamy beige head. Aroma is fruity, malty, hoppy and some yeastiness. A malty moderately sweet taste, caramel and fruit flavours and solid grassy hop bitterness. Some dryness and a metallic taste in the finish.

Can at home. A lively pour and a very gentle aroma of orange peel and oil. The taste was gently fruity hops that were perfectly partnered by the yeast and quite carbonated mouthfeel. The carbonation was (for me) perfectly balanced and this was guzzled remarkable quickly. A very good beer and ideal for the weather.
