Crowler from Half Time, Poughkeepsie. Pours a somewhat hazy orange color with a nice, thick, frothy head. The aroma has a nice mix of citrus / orange juice, some grainy and doughy malts, and a solid bot of tropical hops as well. Drinks smooth and clean, decently sweet, with a nice, lighter, balancing bitterness. Soft mouthfeel, smooth. Easy drinking. All-around, this is some enjoyable stuff. No complaints from me.

Draught @ Milk and Hops Chelsea. Hazy orange with small foamy off-white head, fresh citrus aroma, low carbonation, lightly bitter orange-citrus taste with mango, thin body, medium bitter finish. The aroma is there but the taste is a bit low, probably needs more Citra.

Draft at Harbor Bar, Whole Foods Bryant Park. Hazy yellow, white head, heavy lace. Tropical hops, but of lemon rind. Notes of resin as well. Clean, hoppy flavor. Not super juicy sweet as the aroma would suggest, good balance. Clean feel, light-medium dry on the close. I quite like this.

The Jeffrey NYC tap: pours hzy orange with a white head. Aroma is a tropical fruit bomb. Taste is a tad unorthodox for the style. Light bitterness. Mostly a lot of fruit. Not the crushable citrus that you get elsewhere. Interesting and dank.

Draught mason jar from that beer store in Grand Central Station, 3/17/17.
Heavily hazy, though not quite soupy, golden-apricot body is topped by a medium-sized, white head.
Very juicy and with a good mix of lime, pineapple, grapefruit and light pine in the nose, with cracker and biscuit behind it, low yeastiness and a good bit of honey-like character from the malt. Not boozy and has a good balance showing a bit more aggressive hopping than a typical NE IPA but still remaining soft and tropical.
In the mouth it’s lightly malty, soft and well-carbonated with a spritzy, soft, wheat-laden texture and big notes of guava, lime, red grapefruit and pineapple. I don’t get any of this syrupy sweetness mentioned in other reviews. It’s quite nice. Had it side-by-side with Kent Falls Some Zep on the Jukebox and it was quite a good deal more balanced, juicy and drinkable (not that Zep is anywhere near KF’s best IPA, but still). Equilibrium is making very solid, reasonably clean (especially for the style) NE IPAs and they’re all juicy and very soft and malty, which is what most brewers miss when trying to make this style.

Draught at Haymaker, 3/17/17.
Another glass of soup, with a good-sized white head showing moderate retention.
Huge floral and citric nose lands in a pillowy finish of caramel and honey-like malt notes. Mango and lime add requisite juiciness and there’s just a touch of musky melon and estery alcohol on the finish.
In the mouth it’s soft, malty, mostly well-attenuated with some definite caramel lingering as well as light alcohol and moderate bitterness. Still in the NE IPA style, though a bit more aggressive than most examples. Still drinkable and juicy, with engaging carbonation and low yeast/dough character, but I’d like just a little less of everything (sweetness, bitterness, alcohol).

Draught at Haymaker, 3/17/17.
Full-on NE IPA treatment with a soupy golden-copper appearance and medium-sized white head showing moderate retention.
Very tropical and juicy in the nose with requisite honey and biscuit malts behind it, balancing gently and adding light sweetness to the juicy pineapple, mango, kiwi and lime. The citrus itself even seem quite juicy and the beer is clean and doesn’t smell boozy or overly estery/doughy despite the massive turbidity. Most importantly, it’s not resinous.
In the mouth it’s juicy but also has a brace of good bitterness adding light lime and red grapefruit to the strong mango-kiwi-like tropical juice. Orange and lemon on the end with sweet honey notes and soft malts for texture. Tight carbonation and nicely balanced overall. A very well-done NE IPA, indeed. No alcohol, flaw, resin, yeastiness, etc...

Draft at District Tap House. Murky orange pour, thin head, streaky lacework. Juicy aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, and tropical fruit juice. Fairly sweet, juicy hop flavor. Lightly bitter close. Pretty nice.
