473mL can, pours an opaque golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out melon, citrus hops, light dankness, and some tropical fruitiness. Flavour is fruity and dank, with lots of dank hops, tropical fruits, citrus, melon, and a touch of booze. Dank, fruity and lacking any chalk. Excellent.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy to murky blond colour, just a bit darker than usual. Some aroma of ripe fruits, candied citrus, and dank hops, ballsweat. Full bodied, but not too sweet; hot alcohol but not boozy; the malt base has mild biscuity traits, which is still better than some creamy oats nonsense, and the hopping is bold too, with resins, citrus oils, and enough bitterness.
Slightly rough, but with plenty of enjoyable traits.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of dank hops, stone fruit pith, some booze, and citrus zest. Flavour is bold, with lots of citrus peel bitterness, dank hops, and booze. This one is a bit harsh, finishing boozy and a bit unpleasantly bitter. Not one of the better HB's.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a dark burgundy red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out subdued blueberry, light lacto, but no notice of the coconut or pineapple. Flavour is quite a bit different, with intense coconut upfront, immediately followed by tart blueberries and maybe a hint of coconut. Plenty of sugars to back the sourness. Big adjuncty sour, all lacto-based, but it's big and fun enough to be almost worthwhile. Decent.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a cloudy bright creamsicle golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of sour grapefruit, some almost rotting notes, and lacto — no notice of the maple. Flavour is moderately tart, with a hint of maple mixing with sweetness, light grapefruit, and lacto. Cheap kettle sour as all the LB's are but drinkable enough.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, some stale bread, and light fungal notes. Flavour has a really pathetic hop character, with earthy, fungal hops, stale bread, and syrupy caramel malt. Bad hop use, bad malt base, and bad balance. This is incompetent on just about every level. Not infected or a trainwreck, just a poor quality brew by a brewery who has no clue.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a fair bit of chalk, with lots of stone fruit pith and restrained dank hops. Flavour is moderately chalk, with stone fruit pith, citrus hops, some dank, and light-moderate hopburn. Falls prey to the usual hazy problems but isn't egregious. Drinkable.

The aroma offers strong notes of melon; the flavour too, melon, and citrus, but also some pith, bitter orange peel, it lacks of freshness, and it's definitively past its prime

It's a hazy to cloudy blond, even pale maybe, looks fine. Aroma of fruits, tropical, lychee, and very light dankness. On the palate it's dry, with nice, delicate malt base; there's some powerful hopping here, some more dankness than in the nose, bitter citrus peel, light pith, and light stone fruits; strong bitterness. Could get one more point if there were no pith.
Bold but not hot, very good.

Hazy and pale. Medium head. Boozy, as these sometimes are, with piney, bitter orange hop character and a thick, bready malt note. Solid effort but it's one of those Headbangers where the hops aren't as bright, and those always end up tasting a touch too boozy for me.

Pale plum colour and opaque. No head. It's got a lot of plum, and the bourbon is fairly pronounced. Tart, as usual, for these, and the vanilla comes in with a bit of sweetness in the finish.
