On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out some white grape must, bright tangy hops and a strange herbal note. Flavour reveals a weird herbal note — yeah, they didn't get the fermentation right here — along with banana, generic hoppy bitterness (that's some wasted Nelson), and a touch of white grape must. Man, such potential — they've got the right elements and ingredients, but they just clearly don't know what they're doing. Finishes on estery, banana-like notes, with moderate bitterness. Needs a hell of a lot of work.

Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Coffee, cocoa powder, feint vanilla. Okay.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a cloudy ros with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of bitter grapefruit and yuzu, with lacto and fermented out sugars. Flavour is citric, with lots of grapefruit and yuzu, followed by residual sweetness and lacto. Boozy, sweet and somewhat artificial. It's alright.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a clear bright red with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and artificial, with cranberry, sweet sugars and lacto. Way too sweet and sugary. Artificial cranberries on the finish. Ugh.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and gentle straw. Flavour is clean, with corn, straw and biscuity malt. Clean and drinkable, with a gentle corn character. Fine.

Grapefruit and tangerine. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Some peel. Decent IPA. Can.

Opaque, lively pale amber sort of colour. Thin head. Bright spicy hop, yuzu, notes of cilantro, too. Citrusy bitter finish with a hit of alcohol in the finish, as is the Headbanger way. This is certainly one of my favourite Headbangers.

Pinkish and hazy, quite tart, lots of grapefruit zest bitterness, sort of clashes with the berry and alcohol. Still not bad, these are usually okay, but maybe not the optimal balance.

Poured from 473mL can. Opaque gold with small white head. Dank and sweaty with melon hops and mild citrus. Less boozy than other renditions of head banger. Quite enjoyable.
