Old notes from August 2014. Pours amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of grain, straw, grass & malt. Light body. Light bitter finish. Below average

Overly sweet for me

Can this beer is horrible. Gold color. Aroma is piss with straw. Taste is watery,weak straw.

Bottle. Pale gold color with a decent head. Aroma is a sweet malty grain aroma. Taste is YUCK. Way too sweet and not even in a pleasant way.

Bottle. First off, I love chocolate and I love chocolate beers. This one was "Boatswain Chocolate Stout" from Trader Joe’s. Deep, dark brown almost black. No head. Aroma was burnt grains and chocolate. Taste was bitter dark chocolate, coffee and roasted grains. Nice.

Can. Boatswain Heavy Lifting Vessel version of this beer. Light brown with a two finger head. Aroma and taste is way too boozy.

710ml can. Pink pour, head rention of a can of pepsi. Now you see it, now you dont. Aroma is all sugar, and jolly rancher watermelon candies. This tastes like fake watermelon juice, with a butt load of alcohol. Honestly, its not undrinkable like i was expecting. The sweetness is cloying, but enough ice cubes and this could be very dangerous. Short term update.......i had a good swigg, waited about 10 minutes, now i have a killer headache.......forget this, drain pour the rest. God knows whats in this.

Good god, its like a malt liquor without the booze. Awful sweet rotten corn, and soggy wet veggies, holy god! This is shite!

Another delicious local beer than tastes like crap. I will drink it because somewhere, this is the local. And to that i say cheers.
