Bottle at home shared with Laura and Caesar. Opaque black color, small to average sized dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, heavy liquor, rum I guess? Flavor is malts, dark malts, again heavy liquor, firm bitterness. A bit thin texture, decent body, medium carbonation. Solid.

Can from Waitrose, Wycombe. Deep, vibrant gold with a white head and a pleasant middling fizz. Orange and lemon set against a decent malt background. The flavours are restrained but perfectly balanced; it's clean and dangerously drinkable. If this was a lower ABV it'd make a perfect session beer.

Another Brewver Worldwide Top 50 (#23) for the style. 12 ounce bottle from Tavour. Jet black pour. Finger high foamy tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, orange and smokiness. Big complex menu of flavors. Lovely chocolate truffle notes, sweet orange, subtle oak barrel, spicy tequila and vanilla. Remarkably smooth. Dark dried fruits on backend. Outstanding!
