Aromas are mainly nice MJ with some citrus pith and malt. Flavors are similar to nose., losing a touch of the MJ and gaining a bit of citrus. Goodbbody and carbonation. I like it.

Clear, bright, dark amber brown color with a small beige head; aroma of rum, raisins, brown sugar; somewhat smooth palate; intense, balanced flavor with a long, medium bitter finish, like a top notch gingerbread cookie in a beer form

12 oz bottle from a four pack bought at Costco. Aroma has notes of cocoa, wood, vanilla, molasses, coconut, raisin, smoke, pouch tobacco. Taste is bittersweet with flavors like the aroma descriptors. More bitter than most impy stouts are these days. I haven’t bought this in years, but it doesn’t seem as impressive as it used to be.

Pours clear gold into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Pine and pith aromas. Medium bodied with sweet tea and lemon upfront turning to pine before the medium length pith finish.

Bottle, 2025 vintage. Rich chocolate cake aroma with notes of milk sugar, orange peel, roasted malt, vanilla, oak and tequila. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has some retention and little lacing. Starts with chocolate cake, milk sugar, roasted malt and orange peel flavors as well as having a rich full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes decadently smooth with vanilla, oak and tequila flavors. No hint of booze for a decadently smooth stout.

Pint can at tasting at VastActiv residence.
Poured light amber in color with a bubbly head.
Sweet and malty, bit a strong boozyness amongst some tired like piney hops. Heavy and not very drinkable.
