Re-rate from bottle. Light resiny west coast hop nose. Hazy dark amber, some residue, low golden lace. Great broad cascade flavors, covers the palate without getting too resinny. Medium bisquit and honey malt bottom. Sparkly mouthfeel. Pleasant leafy aftertaste. Moreish. I agree with old me in the rating :-) Old rating: 6 3 8 4 15 Amber, no head. Grassy and flowery hops in the taste. Smooth creamy mouthfeel.

Orange-amber. Small, dissipating, yellowish head. Vineous, some chalk, some hops and orangepeel. Bitter; hops, but even more roasted malts. Glimmer of sweet malt underneath, but the roasted varieties reign. Long bittereffect. Extremely full-bodied, chewy. Aftertaste is just the prolongation of all those hops. It’s better than some hopmonsters. Especially the mouthfeel pleases me. Still, it remains a bit lopsided.
