Description
Urban Artifact is Ohio’s home for sour beer; located in the historic St. Patrick’s church in Cincinnati. With a special emphasis on fruit beers, they have created a niche with their signature overfruited Midwest Fruit Tart style focusing on balance, drinkability, and real fruit. Brewing a bevy of different sour beers, from the standard German style gose, to the exotic spontaneously fermented barrel aged sour with a wide variety of different fruits, there is sure to be something new and exciting to explore. We are currently on pace to use over 400,000 lbs of real fruit this year alone!
Our Northside, Cincinnati taproom is open seven days a week, with food service provided by Wildfire Pizza Kitchen. We host live music five nights a week at the Radio Artifact Live stage, and make the historic church sanctuary, The Reliquary, available for receptions and events.
Radio Artifact, the Urban Artifact hosted independent music radio, can be listened to on 91.7FM HD2 in Cincinnati or live streaming online at radioartifact.com

P- Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, juicy finish. O- Loaded with tropical and juicy fruits. A touch of sourness but not overkill. Drinks really easy and refreshing. Wished there were cans of this so I could have grabbed some. Really nice and would like to have again.

Insanely pale golden and straw coloured body that is 90% opaque with a thin, very fast-dying pure white head on top. Aroma of tart wheat, funky yeast, brett and soured grasses with a large raspberry and a dash of lemons and citrus as well. Light-bodied; Nicely pungent and tart flavour at first with a light dash of yeast, funk, lactose, raspberries, lemons and bunches of yeast with a smooth and light wheat bite towards the end. Aftertaste shows a good tart and complex funky quality from the yeast and the malt with a touch of raspberries, lemons, wheat and a dry grassy character with a touch of sweetness from the fruits and a noticeable amount of lactose. Overall, a nice, unique and tart beer that is full of flavour, yet showing some more subtle and subdued notes throughout but has a ton of character, especially from the yeast strain and the tartness. I sampled this twelve once can purchased from Belmont Party Supply in Dayton, Ohio a few hours ago on 25-June-2018 for US$1,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Dayton for the one night that I'm here.
