Description
Urban Artifact is Ohio’s home for sour beer; located in the historic St. Patrick’s church in Cincinnati. With a special emphasis on fruit beers, they have created a niche with their signature overfruited Midwest Fruit Tart style focusing on balance, drinkability, and real fruit. Brewing a bevy of different sour beers, from the standard German style gose, to the exotic spontaneously fermented barrel aged sour with a wide variety of different fruits, there is sure to be something new and exciting to explore. We are currently on pace to use over 400,000 lbs of real fruit this year alone!
Our Northside, Cincinnati taproom is open seven days a week, with food service provided by Wildfire Pizza Kitchen. We host live music five nights a week at the Radio Artifact Live stage, and make the historic church sanctuary, The Reliquary, available for receptions and events.
Radio Artifact, the Urban Artifact hosted independent music radio, can be listened to on 91.7FM HD2 in Cincinnati or live streaming online at radioartifact.com

Can.
A- Purple color, clear liquid, pink head.
A- Raspberry, candy.
F- Raspberry, sweet, hard candy.
T- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish.
O- To be fair, this was a year+ old but it was also only 99 cents for the can in 2026, so in this economy at that price, it's worth the cost of admission. Tasted like a raspberry hard candy. More soda like than beer in terms of mouthfeel and flavor.

Mørk rød klar med lys rosa skum. Lukter husholdningssaft og bringebærene. Fruktig, noe sur. Smaker røde bær, solbær, bringebær, kirsebær og noe vanilje. Middels lang.

Can.
A- Pale yellow color, clear liquid, no head.
A- Light mango, tropical fruits.
F- Light mango, faint tartness, juicy.
T- Light body, slightly prickly texture, medium high carbonation, refreshing finish.
O- Really good for a NA. Almost tasted more cider like honestly. Light mango flavor, very refreshing. I could chug this all day long on a hot summer day and not think twice about it.

Cloudy golden yellow with no head. Raspberry, pear, fig, biscuit malt, and isopropyl alcohol aroma. Very sweet raspberry, pear, fig, biscuit malt, and mild bitter alcohol and grass flavor. Good body. The fruit and alcohol combination isn't very pleasant.

A- Grape, blueberry, bright.
F- Grape, blueberry, tart.
T- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, slightly sour finish.
O- Basically tasted like grape kool-aid with a hint of blueberry. Fairly sweet. Almost cider like. I didn't love it but I suppose I could see people being a fan of this one.

Can shared by Danne N, thanks.
Very roasted malty aroma and the roasted is also dominating the taste.

When I bought this tick, I was cringing a little; thinking oh no, another stupid ass fruited ale and spice combo. Now that I look at the label closer I see its a tart and my spirits are immediately uplifted. It pours a somewhat artificial cloudy orange color almost like orange soda. How often do you get orange flavored beers that actually look real orange? Nose is an odd, but attractive orange sour aroma. Wow, the first taste is quite yummy, suspecting I'd get a bitter ass fruit ale, I get a pleasant taste of sour tart with what can be said to be orange. Not sure about the vanilla but the tartness is sure enjoyable and this also combines with the co2 for a pleasing wild ale sensation blast. For a 6.7%, you'd never know it had any alky. Its so well hidden that I just spend this time enjoying this brew. Oh my, the end of the can? Balderdash, should have got more of this puppy. Thanks UA! Good over beer tasting session.
