Tap at Fremont, Seattle - 08/11/12. Clear pale golden with a thin white head that soon clears to the edge and forms a pond. Nose is pale malts, spice, cloves, pumpkiny/earthy tones, some light sourness. Taste follows, slightly tarte, earthy fruit tones, apples, light caramel. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a light bitter finish. Decent.

Tap at Fremont, Seattle - 08/11/12. Murky light yellow with a thin white head which retains well, good lacing follows. Nose is floral, perfumed, pale malts and grain. Tastes of sweet sugars, pale malt, light citrus. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate. Pretty average and uninspiring - more a sugary APA than a wheat ale in my book!

Tap at Fremont, Seattle - 08/11/12. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin tan head that clears to the edge of the glass and forms a small film atop. Nose comprises dark fruits, toffee, a little spice, nutty tones, burnt caramelised sugars. Taste follows nose with hints of liqourice, dark fruits, touch of booze. Medium bodied with soft carbonation lending towards a bitter sweet finish. Not usually taken in by ’winter/xmas’ beers but this was half decent!

Tap at Fremont, Seattle - 08/11/12. Lightly hazed mid amber wih a thin off white head that clears to the edge and forms a small pond that retains well. Nose comprises floral hops, light pine, hints of orange. Taste is caramel malt, sweet sugars, sweet tropical fruits, sweet mango. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter sweet finish. Sweet is the theme, a little to so, decent enough and drinkable but let down by being too sweet for me!
