Ever so slightly hazy golden and light orange tinted body with a thin pure white pale single centimettre tall head on top. Aroma of grass, grain, biscuits, light lemons and very herbal hops with an unfinished, wort-quality that shows the yeast and malt throughout. Light to perhaps even Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very herbal flavours up front with a dash of dry flowers, light alcohol, a ton of unfinished yeast notes that has a significant bitterness, a light biscuity flavour and a dash of honey as well with a light sweetness towards the conclusion. Aftertaste shows grassy and grainy flavour with a light biscuity malt finish and a subdued and slightly mellow sweet finish with honey and apples/pears on the fringes. Overall, a strong and fairly grassy beer with some nice flavours, but a more unfinished-than-expected quality make this more worty, grainy and yeastie than was to be desired for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from the [late] New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 24-February-2018 on one of my last trips to the store for US$2,00 sampled at home in Washington on 24-March-2019, just over a year later.
