Pour is a kind of hazy blond with a large white head. Aroma is some generic fruity hop. Flavor is a very minor hop with a plastic after taste. This was poor at best.

Perfectly clear copper and bronze coloured body with a nice three centimetre tall off-white and tan head that's microfoamed and stays afloat nicely above the very clear body. Aroma of lemons, grapefruit, grass, flowers and a dash of candy, with a lot of malts here and some smooth alcohol roams towards the end. Medium-bodied; Rich sweetness from honey and caster sugar, with a strong bitterness from the hops with some citrus, piney and herbal qualities, but balanced well with the malts and a good kick of fruit flavours, too. Aftertaste is crisp and fairly clean, with a good balance of malt, hops and sweetness throughout this, that all hits pretty nicely with a light, but enjoyable hop bitterness that's here, and with some smooth sugars that aren't pungent and not cloying, and alcohol that seems hidden to some degree - around 7,5 per cent, it seems. Overall, a very nice older school (filtered) IPA that borders on Imperial Status, but in my opinion, is a plain IPA, and a nice one at that! Great to sample, a few hours before heading back to New York, and very fresh - a nice label on the can, too, tops this one off! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Bread & Honey in New York (56th @ 8th Ave), New York on 04-December-2021 for US$6,59, canned on 28-September-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 13-January-2022.

Pretty killer, a nice mix of modern juicy IPAs and an old school red IPA, full of caramel, pineapple, papaya, grapefruit zest and pine. Bitter finish is appreciated. Great beer.

Slightly hazy deep golden and bright orange coloured body with a thickish four to five centimetre tall off-white and creamy tan head that's microfoamed and fades slowly. Aroma of citrus, flowers, dry grass, deep rich malts, pineapple and tropical fruitiness with some alcohol noticeable in the nose, but a bunch of hop bitterness, too. Full-bodied; Very rich malts dominate with a lot of citrusey flavours and complexity with some good sweetness, but even better richness that's derived from the fruits and balances quite nicely with the bitter hops and the alcohol that's definitely here. Aftertaste shows a ton of flavours, a lot of complexity and a wide range of flavours with the citrus and tropical fruits the strongest, all on top of the nice malt backbone and sweetness that comes together at the end, all with a great bitterness from the alpha acids, without being pungent or assertive. Overall, a VERY nicely constructed Imperial-ish IPA with great flavours from the hops, a perfect balance, great level of sweetness and alcohol and somehow an even better can and graphic on front! This one was great and fresh from New York and if you like the style, definitely get this if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Bread & Honey in New York (8th Ave @ 56th St), New York on 22-August-2021 for US$6,59, canned on 12-July-2021 and sampled at my house down in Washington on 20-September-2021.
