TALL BOY CAN: Poured a coppery golden with a white head that dissipated to a whisper. Aroma is hops, fruity, resinous, piney, citrus. Taste is light hops, fruity, citrus, oranges, wet, refreshing.

An Imperial IPA acquired from the decent folk at Half Time Beverage some months ago. An IPA, it needs to be consumed from what I see on the bottom stamp. The pour inside of my Great Heights snifter from the 12 oz can arrives orange-gold followed by a heroic top of off-white foam. I smell tropical, maybe guava, and some citrus working its way in along with a spot of hops. The taste goes a bit unusual, is that some spiciness in there? In any case there is orange rind, cedar resin, white bread, a mango sweetness. The sensation is substantial. Interesting brew, A good sampling.

Canned 11/6/25, drunk 2/9/26.
Fairly woody, lightly piney hop isn't explosive or anything, but it's not resinous nor too stale smelling. Cracker-like malts and other rustic grain fill in the rest, with a rather clean yeast.
Surprisingly malty but balanced right away with juicy tropical fruit as well as oranges, grapefruits, kumquats. That sort of thing. Not getting much Mosaic or Simcoe, or at least, not getting any negative things associated with those (wood, heavy pine, allium). Excellent texture and refreshing, lighter bitterness without going too deep down the yeast rabbit hole.

Can, day 3 of the Beer Republic Green advent calendar. Medium hazy orange amber, straightforward pineapple-citrus nose. Flavor is more of the same, a bit thin body and aftertaste if I'm being honest. Pretty easy drinking though, would be good for a longer session.
