(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, orange-amber colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity and exotic hoppy aroma with notes of mango, tangerine and orange, accompanied by hints of pine needles. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a rather tame carbonation. Slightly biscuity malty base with traces of caramel and present fruity and delicately piney hops, again with exotic accents; dry-ish, mildly bitter and slightly sweet malty finish with a juicy fruity tail. Quite balanced brew. 04.X.17

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before September 2017. Clear, orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity-floral and slightly resiny aroma of melon, orange, honey and some pine. A bit sweet, just slightly bitter, moderately fruity-floral and a little resiny taste of orange, melon, honey, some pine and a touch of grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, resiny and slightly dry finish with a touch of iron. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Well-balanced indeed, very refreshing and easily drinkable, must have been really good when it was still fresh.

330ml bottle. Hazy, almost murky amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Fruity and minimally floral, hoppy and mildly nutty, malty aroma, a touch of mandarine, some protein. Taste is zesty fruity, hoppy, minimally sweet malty basis with a nuttily touch (peanut), hints of mandarine, mandarine zest, a touch of protein; the zesty bitter hoppy flavours turn almost to soapy in the finish. Soft palate, gentle carbonation, lasting finish.

Fläschla: Hazy, deep golden to orangey coloured, medium-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head; pale malty to toasty nose with distinctive, but mild , herbal to piney aromas; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering bitter-sweet finish with both pretty solid malty and hoppy flavours. Well done! A completely underrated, MOREISH,well balanced IPL...

Bottle at Craft Room, shared with Trolleo & Veceo. Poured a murky amber-golden body with a tiny white head. Dry fruity malty aroma, plums. Pollen notes in the taste, maltiness, dry, light yeastiness... Dunno, okay, but far from great.

Murky dark blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have an abundance of sweet malts. There’s also something very floral in the nose. Quite full bodied.

330 ml. bottle. Hideous label. BBF 01.09.17. Deep hazy darker orange, thick creamy lightly tanned head. Nose is strangely sweet, burlap sack, soggy sweet bread, sugary hay hops, lots of raw almost wort character, cardboard, sweet wort, low sugar water. Taste is strange almost watery sweet burlap sack, wort sweetness, oat milk, ice water, sugar, hay, soggy bread, oat, sugar, cardboard, wet paper, soggy pepper, bit metallic,... Raw unfermented feel. Body is watery wort, sweet watery cardboard. It may not be a Gänstaller Bräu beer but it was brewed by Gänstaller & as such it is a big disappointment. I tend to see the man as a brewing genius, this feels like a very clear misstep, now sure as to what happened here.

Bottle @ Benzai’s Crazy Carnaval 2017, 5-10 cl sample, thanks all for sharing! Slight hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of some earthy hop, bit sulphury yeast and a bit grainy malt. Soft bitterness, might be even some cardboard notes. Meh.
