75 cl. bottle sampled @ Modeste 2014. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is strange medicinal (mainland EU-hop presumably), candy sugar. Taste is coriander, strange spices, same medicinal thing as in the nose, sweetish. Fizzy body. Odd, not sure where they were going with this. So/so.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ Modeste 2014. Golden citrus little head. Nice light peat in the nose, not overdone with some malt & citrus. Taste is grains, citrus, bread finishing into nice moderate peat, smoked malts, nice light phenol taste. Easy body. This is pretty nice, better than other Inter-Pol, pretty balanced, good peated brew. Not bad.

Hazy golden beer with a fine white rim. Heavy phenolic nose, tarry. Misses a bit of backbone, or... some melanoidins? Sweet, faintly smoked, bit of pineapple and smoked malt in combination. Bit empty MF, aftertaste has again some phenols, but nothing to equal the nasal impression. Pol, I think that smoked beers can be superb - but they sorely need backing, as from malt - or better, dark malts.
