Draft at the brewery. poured a light amber color with a wispy white head. aroma is nice sweet malt notes, some lemon notes, orange citus is light. touch of bready biscuit. flavor is light, sweet malts. some grassy notes from the hops. not bad.

Draft at the brewery. poured a very hazy yellow color with a white head. aroma was, unfortunate. some light bile notes, funk, strange, with a pinch of sea salt. flavor is much better, some funk, with plenty of floral notes. fruits. this was strange, light, and something worth trying if adventurous.

Draft at the source. Hazy yellow color, white head. Although we first tried this one in a tasting glass, Megan suggested we try a full pour in a tulip, to appreciate the lavender aroma more. And in fact, in the taster the aroma was blue cheese, feet, belly button. In the tulip these were in the background, and the lavender really shined through. The taste was smooth, funky and floral vanilla and fruit. Like an ugly baby, loved only by its parents, this one would be much loved by those who like funk, but may be misunderstood by others.
