Draft at Snallygaster 2013. Poured a golden yellow color, vibrant even, with a nice medium sized pure white head. Aroma was full of juicy tropical fruit notes, citrus. Some touch of earthy funk in there from the hops, but overall, the strange Falconer’s Flight hop provides a unique and tasty IPA.

Draft. Hazy golden yellow color, thick creamy white head. Aroma of bright citrus, light pineapple. Taste is sweet and fruity, with decent balance.

Draft at Snallygaster. very dark brown color, almost black, light brown head. Aroma is very roasty coffee grounds, cocoa powder. Taste is smooth, roasty, bitter, almost a black IPA. Very tasty.

Poured at the Bluejacket Brewery for the Bluejacket Sneak Preview BBQ. Poured a slightly pale orange color, edging towards yellow. This one had a fluffy, but not huge, white head to it. Explosion of galaxy hop notes. Very tropical fruit, mangoes, light orange zest notes on the nose. Flavor was juicy mango. Refreshing. Enjoyable.

Aroma was very lightly toasted malt flavors perhaps a bit nutty. Not sure. Distinct flavor that I couldn’t quite put my finger on while drinking this - probably from the jade hops. Smooth.

Sampled at Churchkey during CBC week. Pours a clear orange with tons of white head. Nose of a tripel, candy sugar, tropical fruit, clove, bubble gum. Flavor is overly sweet, cotton candy, sugar, spice, malt, banana. Full bodied, sweet finish. Seems a bit under attenuated.
