Draught at Tip Tap Room, 5/9/18.
Thoroughly hazy, bright lemon-yellow with strong brass undertones and a frothy, white head showing modest retention.
Juicy pineapple, succulent mango and light pine (not problematic whatsoever) are balanced by soft honey-like malts, with light biscuit, rustic house character and no big bubble gum or melon yeast esters. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's soft, biscuity/crackery and shows bright pineapple and tangy lemon mixing with light star fruit, dry mango and nectarine notes. High attenuation, but still a supple malt texture, with only a light bubble gum ester, good minerality and a touch of pine, but nothing that ever builds in to a problem. No alcohol or flaw. Very flavorful and excellent, as expected.

Draught at Ginger Man Boston, 5/3/18.
Clear brass-golden. Small smattering of white head sits at spotty cover.
Bready sourdough slowly gives way to light honey. Clean with rich mineral and lemon-pepper-like hop notes. Bright and aromtic with an excellent display of house character, hop and malt.
Expansive carbonation in the mouth sends lemon-pepper and light honey about the palate. Just a touch of cotton candy is the only detractor here. Great malts on the end with trailing bitterness. Sourdough lingering. Malty and dry with high attenuation and perhaps a bit too much bitterness, but it's not Americanized and only a bit fatiguing at the very end of the glass. Cotton candy and bitterness continue to build, but otherwise this is excellent.

Draught at Ginger Man, 4/7/18.
Pale, brass-golden. Lighter haze than usual for this series. Large, well-retained, white head.
Spicy, peppery and woody in the nose with crisp lemon, crackery grain and soft, fruity, bubble gummy yeast. Hmmm, this is Vic Secret?? Smells an awful lot like Amarillo to me.
In the mouth it's lightly bitter with heavy, spicy lemon oil suggestions. Soft, chewy, deep, pillowy malt base as is usual for this series. Very dry. Fruity and yeasty on the end. It's flawless and resinous but it doesn't have much, if any, of the big tangerine-orange juice character I associate with this hop. The woody, leafy, lemony character seems much more like Amarillo. Oh well, still really good. Tight carbonation and high attenuation. No alcohol noted.

Draught at Lulu's, 3/28/18.
Very pale, drab brass. Heavily hazy-soupy. Good-sized, white head showing strong retention.
Grain, lime and pine with a slight "sour" hop character overall. Hmmm, that's odd. Very earthy with spruce, forest and other floral-spice botanicals that may account for this near "sour"-like character. Kind of bready/tangy, as well.
Better as it warms and breathes, in the mouth, with lots of grain and earth. Dry, fairly soft-to-chewy on the palate but finishes with sharp perfume and pine. A little bit of honey through the middle helps provide some balance and the carbonation is tight/engaging. Actually works quite well and is clean without any alcohol, but for the terrible, twangy, sharp, resinous finish.

Draught at Ginger Man Boston, 3/2/18.
Dark ebony, undetermined clarity. Tan head quickly falls to cover.
Coffee-caramel-chocolate nose with ashy roast and mineral-like yeast behind it. No fudgey sweetness nor is it even intensely roasty. Great balance and clean in the nose with no alcohol.
Soft, ashy in the mouth with dark cocoa-like notes creating light burnt, bitter and yet rich chocolate flavors. Vanilla-caramel provides just enough sweetness yet leaves the beer nicely dry overall. Very low carb, yet engaging. Fudge (flavor, not syrupy sweet texture) and chewy caramel linger nicely. Great coffee character, mild and fruity.
