Yo ho Baja no Hatsu Yume 2024 Extra Pale Ale 6% Very pale straw gold with a thin off-white head of foam. Big hop bouquet, fruity semi-tropical with woodsy/minty elements. Medium to light bodied but incredibly dry. Really quite nice and warm in obabky superior to last year’s though the old series branding/can art was much cooler in my book.

Canned. Yellowish golden colour with a small head. Aroma is herbal, some wheat, citrus and mild earthy tones. Flavour is wheat, some herbs, mild malt sweetness too. Clean, but nothing exciting.

12oz can from John's. Clear amber pour, one finger fluffy cream colored head. Musty, malty aroma. Taste is malt forward, caramel, not very sweet with some latent bitterness.

Can. Clear, very pale gold, with a low, lacy head. Bright citrus hop nose, lemon, grapefruit, orange, a bit spicy. Light malt. Crisp, fruity, light flavor. Ok, but rather dull and a bit soapy.

Yoho Boku Beer, Kimi Beer Joker-kun Session IPA 4.5% The hop bouquet is added to a spicy Belgian edge. Light bodied and very dry. This feels like a hoppy version of the standard saison version of this beer. Ok.

Can. Estery, fruity nose, spicy yeast, biscuity malt, lemon, orange, peaches. Slightly hazy gold with a thick head. Quite pronounced yeastiness in the flavor, quite spicy. Sweet and fruity, beady. Yeast prevalent, peppery hops mostly in the finish. Not bad. In Belgium, this would be a rather average abbey beer.
