Can. Pours hazy light straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit, with notes of hops and malt, and touches of, ehm... terpentine? Bitter, hoppy and citric flavour with dusty and estery notes. Bitter and acidic aftertaste. Well, interesting but not really illuminating.

Can, 5.5%. Overripe fruit aroma, a little oxidised. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour starts off with vanilla (?) and then a citric note followed by ripe fruit. Citric finish, OK grassy.

One of Silke’s fifty. Gold with a frothy, white head. Tangerine aroma. Candy. Taste is mildly, hoppy bitter with a subtle bready sweetness underneath. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Tasty.

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, yeasty fruity and minimally dark malty aroma, notes of red and dark berries, hints of plum, raisin, cherry, some chocolate. Taste is sweet and bitter, yeasty fruity and minimally roasty, chocolately dark malty, dry hints of fruit parings, raisin, plum, cherry, dark berries, hints of alcohol soaked, dried dark fruit, some hop bitterness, papery overtones, some alcohol; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. A tad too boozy for a rather simple and clear amount of flavours, not really catchy - OK.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden to amber colour with average, fluffy, slowly diminishing, remarkably lacing, white head. Minimally bready, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy aroma, hints of banana, orange peel, whiffs of clove. Taste is moderately bitter, minimally citrusy hoppy, dry, minimally bready, wheaty malty basis without residual sweetness, weak, yeasty fruity overtones, hints of lemon, a touch of banana, diluted hints of peach. Watery texture, dry, minimally repellent palate, medium, prickly carbonation. More Belgian Pale Ale than Belgian Ale to me, some Hefeweizen (and even Triple) lendings, the Citra doesn't fully unfold its qualities / isn't really harmoniously incorporated - improvable.

One of Silke’s 50. Amber with a frothy to creamy white head. Aroma full of tangerines. Candy underneath. Taste is moderate bitter with a sweetened, citric twist. Finishes mildly sweet with lingering lichee and citrus. Too sweet to be a traditional IPA, but still pleasant drinking.

Too high carb, soap, cleaning products, chemical, worst of BE excesses, awful.
