Bottle shared by Willem, thanks! Dark brown color, average to medium sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, soft roast, sweetish coconut notes, an addition, not annoying at all to my surprise, although there is quite some sweetness there. Quite pleasant overall though.

Bottle shared by Willem. Clear darker orange color, white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sticky hoppiness, resinous a bit, very firm bitter. Quite nice.

33cl Fles van De Laat. Donkerbruine kleur, beige kraag. Zoet, moutig, donker fruit, bruine suiker, drop, bitterzoete finish. Medium body, licht alcoholisch. OK Quad, iets te zoet voor mijn smaak en mist wat diepgang. Ik verwacht iets meer bij Black Fuel, al heb ik de fascinatie van de Belgen met Channel Zero nooit begrepen.

Pretty clear pale yellowish beer, small creamy irregular white to yellowish hea, little stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, lots of citrus notes, grapefruit, herbal, some summer fruits, hint of vanilla. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter start, lots of citrus, fruity, a bit herbal, little sweet, soapy touch, more floral notes, vanilla. Aftertaste: fruity, lots of citrus, floral, bit soapy, grassy, fake artificial vanilla (vanillin), meh. I don’t understand what this vanillin has to do in the beer.

Pretty cloudy blond to beige beer, big creamy yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, lots of CO2, weird, smelly, rains, sulphur, septic tank, manure, bah, not just weird, but downright bad! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, resinous, very dry, bit dirty, sweet, bit juicy, orange peel. Aftertaste: bitter, grapefruit, some tropical fruits, very resinous, rather soapy, pineapple, very bitter, dry finish, lots of alcohol. The hops are disguising the bad smell when tasting the beer.
