0.75l at Mundoaka, Zagreb. Poured a misty amber-orange body, quite lovely, with a slightly off white head. Aroma, urgh... yeah, some orange, caramel, sticky maltiness, raisins even.... destroyed by a sharp solvent/plastic note, maybe some sharp phenol. What’s this?! Empty malty taste, stale yeasty notes, actually passable sweetbread notes... slightly creamy notes, perhaps orange again. Ends off. Dunno, some nice bits underneath some not so nice bits, and overall too light. No, I don’t see trying this one again any time soon.

Bottled @ Mundoaka in Zagreb... I really don’t know how or why a new bistro in the very center of Zagreb carries the entire range from this brand new Catalan brewery, but there it is - thanks Riba for the tip-off! Humm... pours a lovely full misty yellow-golden body with a big white head that went away relatively fast though. Yeasty, spicy notes, some phenols in general, orange peel, quite nice & fresh, some chalky herbal notes... actually more like a Trippel than like a wheat. The taste is, however, a bit different. Refreshing, yet very thin and dry mild taste, completely clean, light chewed up bubblegum fain yeasty notes, light, light herbal notes (apparently Tettnanger). The slightly hard mouthfeel actually makes a beer that’s devoid of much interest from being completely boring. They make a marketing point of "notes of banana", which never showed up, along with any proper esters in the bottle we’ve had. Shame. Not bad, but for that price (even if it IS ok for a foreign beer in a restaurant), I wouldn’t go for it again.
