Bottle thanks to McNeillR. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - citrus and nuts. Sweet malt. Taste - black smokiness going on. Charcoal. A bit astringent though. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a bit too bitter but not bad.

330ml can. Pours hazy orange with a smooth head. Aroma of lactic sourness, floral notes, grass and earthiness. Taste is lactic sour, tartish and earthy with some floral notes. Finish is mineraly, earthy, lactic sour and slightly tart with some salty notes. Almost like a gose.,

Can at home via Beer Gonzo. It pours cloudy golden - amber with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy melon, hitn of white grape, bread, straw and grass. The taste is bitter - sweet, white bread, straw, grass, minerals, toasted grain, stone fruits and a touch of alcohol with a smooth finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Another solid lager offering from Chorlton.

330ml can from Beermerchants. Pours hazy yellowish with a small white head. Aroma of lactic sourness, juicy citrusy fruitiness, lemon and grass. Taste is tart, lactic sourish and crisp with some lemon, wheaty yeastiness and citrus. Finish is lactic, sour and yeasty with some farmyard, lemon and citrus. Quite heavily lactic sour, not nearly as refreshing and balanced as the Citra Brett Pale.

Can from Beer Gonzo webshop , consumed in a field at Fairports Annual Reunion Festival, Cropredy Friday 12th August 2016 Hazy murky yellowy brown colour with a large frothy white head, very hoppy some floral and perfumey elements to this. Streaky hoppiness and bitterness, a few hoppy burps. Furry rub across the roof of the mouth. Really, really nice. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
