Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2010. Hazy gold, thin white head. Very drinkable in the body, hops are very decent on finish. Very drinkable but needs something more. 3.5 're rate cask gravity Firkin Alehouse. excellent drinkable 5% apa. grapefruit and oranges lovely.

Cask handpull at The Market Porter, Borough on Kook crawl. Black, thin cream head. lovely dryish porter. Lovely dry choc aroma. And this was one of the best beers we had all day. Really stood out from the rest. Full in body.

Cask handpull at The Market Porter, Borough on Kook crawl. I thought pretty good, but if slightly sweet, bit of blue cheese, bit of sweet malt, some drying hop character on finish.

Cask (handpump) @ The Star Inn, Huddersfield, England. @ [ The Star Inn Summer Beer Festival ]Clear medium yellow - orange amber color with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, apple, chlorine. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090716]

Ok... in a departure from normal rating... due to the INCREDIBLY high number of BLOND ales during the Shefiled trip that all blended into one another im breaking them down into three catagories Catagory A : Golden Yellow ... light fruity lemon hop nose ... soft dull light lemon hop Catagory B : Amber ... light dry lemon hop ... soft light lemon hop with a little malt in background Catagory C : Amber ... soapy lemon nose ... light brigh lemon hop Catagory D : Amber ... light grassy lemon hop ... dry grassy lemon hop Catagory E : Amber ... light grapefruit hop ... again light hop with a little grapefruit This is a Catagory A @ the Star festival Hudersfield

RBESG Sheffield 2009. Handpump at The Star Inn Summer Beer Festival, Huddersfield. Hazy amber colour, thick off white head. Aroma of hops, malts, some caramel and citrus. Flavour is earthy citric hops, caramel, bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, no carbonation. Enjoyable.
