Keg draught at the Cradock Arms, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, clear witha small swirl of white head. Not a lot of aroma, some lemon cream pie, notes of canned pineapple. Lovely delicate taste, quite sweet and fruity with a gentle malt skeleton. Pronounced bitterness on the back of the tongue for the finish. Body is very light with medium to heavy carbonation. Everards forme are a hit and miss brewery but this very good.

Keg draught at the Three Nuns, Leicester. Mid golden, a little hazy, with a creamy off-white head. Herbal aroma, some citrus. Taste isn't so good. Some malty notes and souring yeasty bread with some light citrus. Some bitterness in the finish. Lighter body with carbonation on the heavy side. All in all not great.

Hand pulled half pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks on 2nd December 2025. Nice looking beer, more red than amber, off white crown. Fruity and malty, some decent flavours in this. and it's different and interesting compared to most Everards beers.

On cask at Millpool in Coventry - clear ruby body with a firm white lacing head. Straightforward malty caramel notes, some ripe fruit, tang from the hops.

Keg at Millpool in Coventry - Hazy yellow, little head. Tangy herby citrus notes, a little medicinal, but overall inoffensive easy going session NEIPA.

Hand pulled pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 29th October 2025. Clean and clear old gold in colour, off white crown that stayed the distance. Malty with an orchard fruit feel, more semi sweet than bitter, nice easy start to the drinking session.

Keg draught at the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Marmalade gold and clearwith a small ring of white head. Caramel, papaya, orange rind, spruce, a touch of stone fruit. Sweet taste with a lip-smacking bitterness at the end, more tropical fruit. Light body with well-judged carbonation. Delicious, maybe not the most authentic Westie but still enjoyable.

Hand pulled pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 27th September 2025. Golden pour, clean and clear, on top a white crown. Equinox hops doing their thing, citrus and herbal nose, citrus and lime in the flavours. Not too shabby at all.
