Hand pulled half pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 1st August 2026. Bright light golden body, white crust. As the name suggests this a citrus flavoured beer with the hops ruling the roost from start to finish, luckily there is a bit of malt action to calm the hops down a little.

Draught keg at the Anne of Cleves, Melton Mowbray. Mid-golden, a trifle hazy with a small bit of white head. Yeasty sourdough aroma, some orange peel, a little bit of sweet spice. Taste is a sourish bittersweet, more orange, some coriander, heavy yeasty presence. Sweetness in the finish. Light and slightly gritty body, medium carbonation. Okay.

Keg draught at the Cradock Arms, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, clear witha small swirl of white head. Not a lot of aroma, some lemon cream pie, notes of canned pineapple. Lovely delicate taste, quite sweet and fruity with a gentle malt skeleton. Pronounced bitterness on the back of the tongue for the finish. Body is very light with medium to heavy carbonation. Everards forme are a hit and miss brewery but this very good.
