Pours clear golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grass and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long caramel and floral finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

5.2% ABV Bottle: BBD 28 Sep 2013, poured into a UK pint sleeve some 6 days after that date. Looks lovely, a true amber hue to itโs body: the crown a full, deep blanket of off-white foam. Malty and fruity nose, those aromas carry on into the taste nicely. Semi-sweet and full of malty molasses that sweep the hop content under the surface throughout the pint, toffee, caramel and biscuity notes fill your senses and I actually enjoyed it more than the cask version, which is very unusual for me.

Cask at the British Oak, Wakefield. Pale yellow gold colour, white foam head and light malt aroma. Light malty taste, some fruity notes and bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation. OK.

500 ml can. Clear deep golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is moderate fruity with malt, pretty straight forward. Flavor is as expected from aroma mild malt and some fruitiness, moderate bitterness. A rather uninspired bitter, drinkable but frankly not far away from a lager in flavor.

Cask at Craven Arms; golden amber pour with fluffy white head, slight citrus aroma, mostly standards bitter taste with subdued citrus hop and sweet malt uprising.

500ml bottle. Clear coppery orange amber colour, foam off-white head and aroma of malt, floral fruity. Taste is sweet rich malty, with caramel notes and earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish, some residual sweetness. OK bitter.
