Nose is orange pith, straw, light bread, caramel, floral notes, touch of apricot. Taste comprises toasted grain, melon, straw, orange peel, mellow apricot. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a tickle of hop bitterness. Ok.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. A glossy deep reddish chestnut colour with a ring of cream head; sweet aroma of fresh orange juice; dry and fruity in the mouth with a mixture of apricot puree and bitter orange marmalade; then a sweeter marmalade finish. Less apricot than you’d expect from the name, but certainly a very fruity beer.
