About
Established in 2010, Revolutions is a music-inspired micro brewery producing a range of cask ales of all styles from pale ales through to stouts and porters. Home to the multi award-winning Swoon Chocolate Fudge Milk Stout. The brewery also holds beer from other breweries from Yorkshire and further afield and currently sources beer for many beer festivals across the UK.

Brewing ceased in March 2023.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2015. Darker red in colour. Grainy-sweet, but somewhat understated and its strength is not too evident either.

Gravity cask at Nottingham festival day two with fonefan, Charlotte & chriso. Clear golden. Aroma of stale straw. Taste is bittef and peppery atraw. Decent.

Cask at the craft beer co brixron. Amber reddy coloured pour with a sticky off white head. Aroma is twiggy, brown sugar, warrgh Berry. Flavour us composed if woody, brown sugar, dirty berry. Palate has no condition. Semi sweet.

Cask at craft beer co Brixton. Mid amber orange coloured pour with a samll white head. Aroma is light citrus, nutty grains, brown breaad. Flavour is semi-sweet grains, citrus fruits, little rough bitterness. Decent pale ale. Moderate carbonation.

Cask at St Albans beer festival 2015, St Albans, Herts. A black coloured pour with a small beige head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, coffee, chocolate, slight sweetness. Very nice porter.

Draft at Craven Arms. Clear deep amber color, white head. Aroma of lightly toasted biscuit. Taste has nutty caramel. Nice example of the style.

Cask at CBC Brixton - London. Pours clear red with no head. Toasty malts in the nose, a little smoke, leaves, toffee. Medium sweet flavor with damp earth, leaves. Medium bodied, soft; poor condition. Finishes with dirty-leafy bitterness, muddy earth, grains. Ho hum.

Cask. Clear deep darm maroon color, fluffy beige head. Aroma of cocoa powder and coffee grounds. Taste has burnt espresso, licorice, dark fruit. Very tasty.

Cask at the Queens Head, Kings Cross. Sooty black with a loose tan head; aroma of richly roasted malts with some chocolate; dry and sharply bitter, with lots of roasted malts and some coffee grounds; then a gentle warmth to finish. Very moreish.
