On cask @ the Guildford Arms. Appearance - amber to brown with a nice head. Nose - brown malt and then an enticing liquorice note. Taste - liquorice confirmed on the palate with plenty more of the malt and spicy freshness too. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and elegant finish. Overall - I really like this.

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - grapefruit and a touch of biscuit. Taste - more biscuits and toffee then swept away with a grapefruit finish. Palate -light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - not sure where it fits style wise but itโs a decent ale.
