Description
De brouwwijze van Stadsbrouwerij De Drie Ringen is ambachtelijk en traditioneel. Het is nog altijd de brouwer die verantwoordelijk is voor de kwaliteit van het bier. De brouwerij gebruikt natuurlijk en gezuiverd Amersfoorts water als basis voor het brouwproces. Daaraan worden traditionele grondstoffen als gerste- en tarwemout, hop en gist toegevoegd. Er worden uitsluitend bovengistende bieren in een eigentijds jasje gebrouwen. Onderstaand kunt u alvast een keuze maken voor uw volgende bezoek.

New label, new recipe, new name. Bottled. Malt, caramel and a hint of chocolate in the aroma. Medium bodied. Roastmalt flavor with caramelly and chocolate notes. Roastbitter finish. I am pleasantly surprised by this bok.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, spicy, cake - kransekage. Flavor is moderate to light light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Draught @ Stadsbrouwerij De Drie Ringen, Kleine Spui 18, 3811 Amersfoort, Netherlands.Unclear sparkling medium grey amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, honey, light to moderate hoppy, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is inital light metalic but as the beer warms up the metalic finish disappears. [20090904]

On tap at Arendsnest. Murky golden colour, dense white head. Aroma of sweet malts, fresh grass, yeast, some mint-like aroma. Flavour is bready malts, alcohol, fruit, yeast, sweet, light bitter finish, a bit medicinal. Almost medium bodied.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Thick aroma of unmalted barley and oatmeal, grass and a bit of hops. Flavour is malty, light sweet, light hoppy, some yeast, slightly bitter finish. Less than medium bodied. Nice substitute for a pilsner.

From tap at ’t Arendsnest. Pours almost clear orange with a small white head. Mild spiced aroma. Breadish and quite malty flavoured. Light metallic note into a medium dry and quite malty finish.
