Description
De brouwwijze van Stadsbrouwerij De Drie Ringen is ambachtelijk en traditioneel. Het is nog altijd de brouwer die verantwoordelijk is voor de kwaliteit van het bier. De brouwerij gebruikt natuurlijk en gezuiverd Amersfoorts water als basis voor het brouwproces. Daaraan worden traditionele grondstoffen als gerste- en tarwemout, hop en gist toegevoegd. Er worden uitsluitend bovengistende bieren in een eigentijds jasje gebrouwen. Onderstaand kunt u alvast een keuze maken voor uw volgende bezoek.

From tap at βt Arendsnest. Pours almost clear orange with a small white head. Mild spiced aroma. Breadish and quite malty flavoured. Light metallic note into a medium dry and quite malty finish.

Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, citrus shell notes, moderate to light light heavy yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. On tap at βt Arendsnest. Hazy dark golden colour, creamy white head. Sweet aroma of malts and spelt (?). Flavour is sweet, malty, a little plastic, and a slightly bitter finish. Less than medium bodied, but not thin.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished white head. Mild malty and light yeasty aroma. Mild spiced and yeasty flavoured with a mild malt and fruity accent. Vague metallic yeasty touch too. Bitter and malty finish.

Bottle, 5%. OK malty aroma, hint of fart. Hazy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is a little yeasty, has some malt. Not exactly as clean as a real KΓΆlsch, but nice enough.
